London Cocktail Week: Spirit Offers Day Two

The Kraken Black Spiced Rum £24.99 now £19.99
Cocktail Suggestion
The Kraken Cider
1 part Kraken Rum
2 ½ parts Apple Cider
1 Cinnamon Stick
Warm the apple cider through in a saucepan. Then take the saucepan off the heat, add the Kraken Rum and serve in heatproof glasses. Garnish with the cinnamon stick.

The Kraken is a legendary, mythical sea monster of huge proportions, who is said to have wreaked havoc with tall ships and rum-running vessels throughout history. The Kraken Rum itself is, like this famous creature, strong, rich, black and smooth. To that end, the result of a night out with The Kraken Rum is said to be similar to the experiences of those sailors who have gone eye-to-eye and toe-to-tentacle with the giant creature; they are happy to have survived and are looking forward to ROUND TWO.

While this smooth tasting rum lends itself beautifully to be enjoyed alone, use this fantastic rum as a key ingredient in rum based cocktails like The Kraken Cider or with Ginger Beer or Coca Cola and a slice of lime.
Kraken Black Spiced Rum 94 Proof. Distilled in Trinidad and Tobago and blended with 13 secret spices, distilled from molasses and made from local sugar cane. The Rum is aged 12-24 months and then a mixture of spices including cinnamon, ginger and cloves are added. The rich black colour takes its hue from the mysterious ink with which, as legend has it, The Kraken covered its prey.
The Kraken Rum is Gluten, Wheat, Nut and Lactose free as well as vegan.

The Kraken Rum’s unique marketing techniques and individual bottle design have created quite the stir, with a huge following on Twitter and Facebook and with merchandise available through the website that ranges from “Release the Kraken” t-shirts to shower curtains and umbrellas. Take advantage of CellarVie’s fantastic offer on The Kraken Black Spiced Rum and see first-hand what the fuss is all about.
