London Cocktail Week and London Restaurant Festival

With London Cocktail Week (LCW) and London Restaurant Festival both beginning next week, the first half of October is looking rather exciting for food and drink fans in London.
London Cocktail Week
In its fifth year, London Cocktail Week begins on Monday October 6 2014. For seven days, the largest drinks festival in the country celebrates London’s vibrant cocktail culture. More than 200 of the finest bars will open their doors to offer the best cocktails around town. An event to inspire and unite the cocktail lovers of London? Don’t mind if we do.

The London Restaurant Festival
The London Restaurant Festival runs from 8-27 October 2014. The festival is a city-wide celebration of the fantastic restaurants and chefs that London has to offer. Go along and sample some of the best food and wine in the city.
Whatever your budget, you will find your match at the many events that are taking place throughout the three weeks. From exclusive food and drink set menus by many of London’s best restaurants to a diverse range of different events, London Restaurant Festival promises to banish those autumn blues and provide you with a foodie extravaganza.
Champagne giants Laurent-Perrier are offering a choice of three different Gourmet Odyssey’s. Their innovative road trip lets you travel in style across the capital in a fleet of London Restaurant Festival Routemaster buses. The lucky ticket holders will experience their first course in one top London restaurant, the main in another and dessert in a third. Each course will of course be served with Laurent-Perrier Champagne in what promises to be a unique and unforgettable event.
Cinephiles can attend the world-famous photographer Rankin’s Italian-themed event inspired by the celluloid masterpiece, Cinema Paradiso. After a complimentary cocktail, you will get to watch the fantastic film accompanied with a box of gourmet popcorn. Afterwards, enjoy an exquisite, Cinema Paradiso inspired three course dinner created by BAFTA 195 Piccadilly’s Head Chef, Anton Manganaro.
