Recipe: Posh Prawn Cocktail

Frank Sinatra's favourite Soave - Bolla - offers freshness and much more character than you might expect…a truly cracking wine which is perfect when you are cooking your supper or tucking into a sumptuous Prawn Cocktail as we have suggested. You can also try it with salads, smoked salmon or fish based pasta dishes.

Ingredients:

300g langoustine
250g king prawns
100g shredded iceberg lettuce
½ cucumber, diced
Small jar of Rosemarie sauce
Lemon wedges

Method:

Mix the langoustine and prawns in the Rosemarie sauce. Arrange the lettuce and cucumber in the bottom of a stemmed glass. Spoon the prawn mix on top and decorate with a grind of black pepper and a wedge of lemon. Serve with buttered brown bread or soda bread.

Bon Appétit!

Spaghetti with clams is the quintessential summer dish and amazingly refreshing.  The balance between this dish and the Bolla Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 2010 is quite simply unbeatable - we think the lovely people over at Bolla came up with this dish to accompany the wine.
Pinot Grigio is the varietal of the moment and the freshness of this wine shows you exactly why everyone loves this varietal - dry with ripe peach flavours it truly is a fantastic white wine.
